Through the project, the annual Alex Owl Day is organised. The school children have the opportunity to take part in the owl art project each year, where participating learners paint, colour or create owl art from recycled wood donated by EcoSolutions.

This campaign was developed as a means to educate school children by interaction with owls while also debunking the myths associated with owls in South Africa.
This programme was introduced as a part of education initiative and with valuable hands on experience when dissecting owl pellets.
