Owl found in a warehouse

Midrand, Johannesburg

This Barn Owl (Tyto alba) flew into a warehouse and could not find its way out. After long hours of trying to get him, It almost seemed impossible. The owl was really weak due to starvation. We then rushed him to the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital for care. The owl is doing very well and going through a release programme at one of our participating schools. The owl will soon be released back into the wild to control the rodent population. These kids are doing an awesome job!

All the work we do is Pro Bono and we would really love you to help us by sponsoring the fuel costs for these trips.
